RAF Hawker Hunter Manufacturer’s Brochure
A rare Hawker Hunter Manufacturer's Brochure.
The Hunter first flew in 1951 and entered RAF service as a Fighter Interceptor in 1954.
In 1953 the Hunter prototype broke the world air speed record for aircraft, achieving a speed of 727.63 mph.
This is an original limited edition copy of the factory brochure.
It is printed in English, French and Spanish, presumably to introduce the aircraft to those foreign prospective purchasing Governments.
The brochure is sized, 13 ˝" x 9" and with 23 pages.
There is informative text, b/w photographs and colour drawings etc.....
We have never seen this brochure before, and it seems to be a rare survivor.
It is in a very good condition, but the staples have broken.
