WW1, German Zeppelin L31 Part

A piece of wreckage recovered from Zeppelin L31 shot down by RFC pilot, Lt. Tempest on the night of 1st October 1916, at Potters Bar.

This is a piece of aluminium rib framework.

Due to the public interest and fear of these massive enemy airships pieces of wreckage from the crash sites, were often collected and then highly prized.

This piece still has it's original identity label attached.

With the piece is some research, and a copy photograph of the L31 crash site.
