RAF Airmen 1936 Pattern Service Dress Cap
A good example of an RAF Airmen, 1936 Pattern, Service Dress Peak Cap.
Introduced under the new Air Ministry Order A93/36, Field Service Cap of blue-grey material, with brass cap badge.

This 36 pattern is one of the final batch issued to RAF Airmen.
It has the classic 'round top' made of blue-grey serge material.
With a short Patent Leather peak, leather chin strap, a black mohair band, with a brass Kings Crown RAF cap badge.
The inside leather sweat band is stamped with A.I.D. markings, Size 7, RAF stores Ref. No's incorporating the 1939 date.
It has the airmanís initial's, E.H.
Black oil cloth liner.
In a very good condition, with some 'wrinkling' to the leather peak.
