RAF 1941 Pattern Mae West Kapok Pads

A Full set of 1941 Pattern Mae West Kapok Pads.
Air Ministry Ref No. 22C/93.

These are the First Pattern pads made for the 1941 Mae West.

Constructed from a rubberized cotton material, similar to that used for the 1932 pattern, and filled with Kapok.

They are very rare to find, and these earlier pads are normally associated with the 'Flap Type' variant of the '41 Mae West'.

In a good issued condition, all three are fully A.M. stamped.
One of the larger pads has had some repair to the base (see photo).
