German 1kg B1E Incendiary Bomb (INERT)

An INERT German Incendiary Bomb dropped by the Luftwaffe on the UK, during WW2.

These Magnesium fire bombs were dropped in their hundreds during the Blitz and Bombing raids on British Towns & Cities.
Most exploded and burnt fiercely on impact but some, like this one, fell dud or were rendered harmless quickly by the Civil Defence or Armed Forces.

This early dated incendiary (1936) has some of the best markings I've seen on a B1 E.
It is in excellent condition, with the nose fuze cap easily unscrewing by hand, to reveal an empty chamber.
The nose fuze has great markings on it and it even has a Wa stamp on the inside shoulder (see photo).
