WW2 Army 1944 Gas Brassard

Original, WW2 British Army Gas Brassard.

This Brassard was worn on the outside, upper sleeve, of the Battle Dress Jacket.
It was used to indicate to the soldier of a Gas attack.

These were worn by the Allied troops during the D-Day Invasion.

The Brassard is made from a special chemical impregnated paper.
This example has the makers stamp and is dated 1944.
