RAF Mosquito boots.
Issued to RAF air crew and ground crew in very hot climates, primarily in North Africa during the desert campaign, and later Burma. This pattern of boot had the advantage of having no fur lining, keeping the wearer cool, and webbing ties to prevent insects entering and leading to bites.
Made from green/kakhi canvas uppers and black leather shoes, with leather soles and heels.
Size 8 with a 6 fitting. WD stamped and with 1944-45 dates.
In a very good condition.
